Muizenberg has traditionally been a tourist attraction thanks to its beautiful long clean white strand and warm Indian Ocean waters. A recent revival of the area has led to some fantastic new shops and cafes opening in the area.

Surfers Corner offers surf board sales, hire and tuition - and where better other than in what may be considered the birthplace of surfing in South Africa!

What we offer at 41 The Tides is a secure fourth floor apartment. There are three double bedrooms - two with double beds and a twin set that can be pushed together to make a third double if needed. Two large bathrooms, one en-suite off one of the double bedrooms, both with large baths that also have shower facilities.

The kitchen is well appointed with an eye-level oven and grill, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. A six-seater dining room table is between the kitchen and lounge area, which has two large comfortable sofas.

There is a parking area within the secured building perimeter with a reserved parking bay for number 41. There are also five visitor parking bays in the area. There are laundry facilities on the ground floor and a swimming pool area at the front of the building.

Close by is the blue-flag beach (not even a two minute walk), shops and cafes. The train station is less than a ten minute walk, which will take you to Simonstown or to the city. The city is a 25km car ride away with many other shopping areas and interesting places to visit in between.

Activities range from surfing, kite surfing, swimming, hiking, rock climbing to water slides (super tube) for the kids, miniture golf (putt-putt) and is also the perfect place to start from when discovering the incredibly scenic drive to Cape Point.

Muizenberg beach has also received blue-flag status for its good practices regarding water quality, environmental management, safety & services and environmental education. There are two areas on the beach (one to the left and one to the right of the apartment) where lifeguards are on duty.
